Key stage 3 ~ year 9 ~ First of a two-part lesson on Vaccines. In this lesson pupils will explain why we have vaccines and describe different ways that vaccines can be administered. They will learn about the work of Edward Jenner; an English doctor who helped to develop smallpox vaccination and to make the practice mainstream.
Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the Activate 3 KS3 course.
